Ο Αρμένιος Αρχιεπίσκοπος Khaj’aq Bassamian στα Ιεροσόλυμα

Την Τρίτην, 25ην Μαΐου /7ην Ιουνίου 2011, ο Αρμένιος Αρχιεπίσκοπος κ. Khaj’aq Bassamian, Primate Diocese of the Armenian Church of America, συνοδευόμενος υπό του π. Γκουσάν κληρικού του εν Ιεροσολύμοις Αρμενικού Πατριαρχείου επεσκέφθη το Πατριαρχείον Ιεροσολύμων.Εις την λίαν ευχάριστον ατμόσφαιραν της επισκέψεως ταύτης έλαβε χώραν ενδιαφέρουσα συζήτησις μεταξύ του εν λόγω Αρμενίου Αρχιεπισκόπου και του υποδεχθέντος τούτου Μακαριωτάτου Πατρός και Πατριάρχου Ιεροσολύμων κ.κ. Θεοφίλου περί των ανέκαθεν αγαθών σχέσεων και κοινών δυσκολιών και περιπετειών του Αρμενικού και των Ελληνικού Έθνους περί των Ελληνορθοδόξων και των Αρμενικών Εκκλησιών εις την Κωνσταντινούπολιν και εις τας Η.Π.Α. και περί της καλλιτέρας νυν δια διαλόγου συνεργασίας μεταξύ του Ελληνορθοδόξου Πατριαρχείου Ιεροσολύμων και του Αρμενικού Πατριαρχείου εν Ιεροσολύμοις δια την επίλυσιν των εκάστοτε αναφυομένων προσκυνηματικών ζητημάτων.

Επί τη ευκαιρία ταύτη ο Μακαριώτατος επέδωσεν εις τον Αρμένιον Αρχιεπίσκοπον φιλντισένιον εγκόλπιον, ευχόμενος αυτώ την επίσκεψιν και πάλιν εις την Ιερουσαλήμ και την Αγίαν Γην.
